MAKSAK CHESS IN PERAK

Perak will be the next host of Interstate chess team championship for the goverment servants.The tournament will start on 21st to 24 July 2011 at Hotel Heritage in Ipoh.As usual  teams will be divided into three group and the top two from each group will play in the winner's pool and will decided who will crown as a champion.

Traditionaly Kuala Lumpur ,Sarawak and Terengganu are the top three team in this championship but this year Johor will add more spices to this event due to the inclusion of two experience players like Taulani Tukiran and Halim Shuhaimi Yeop Johari.This year Kelantan who will not sending the team due to the budget constraint.Kelantan for the last few years has a very realiable players,pity for them for not be able to take part.Below are the team team grouping.
