DUNGUN BLITZ : NORAZMI IS THE CHAMP


The Terengganu closed blitz championship is won by Norazmi Mohd Nor who scored 10 points from eleven games.Runner up is Fairul Yusoff  with 9 points and third place is Indera Shahrin Mohktar.Fourth place is Abdul Rahim Ramli and fifth place is Ruzenan Abu Bakar.The tournament was played at UITM Dungun.

Dungun Open start today but I am not be able to play as I had an urgent matter to attend.Beside me my former padawan Hashim Jusoh also not playing.Only 12 players took part.I will update result later.

WORLD YOUTH CHESS CHAMPIONSHIP STARTS

World Youth Chess Championship starts today .Malaysia is represented by 15 junior players(list here) who will compete in various age groups.According to host country Greece, more then 1400 players from 80 nations will be taking part in this 11 rounds event.This would be a great exposure for our young players to play in a high level tournament like this.The winners of various categories will be awarded Fidemaster ,Intentional Master or Grandmaster.
