NORAZMI IS MAKSAK CHAMP

After disastrous failure in Kelantan Open Norazmi Mohd Nor continuenued his domination in Terengganu chess scene by easily winning the Terengganu Maksak chess tournament yesterday.He won his first five game before drew with Alias Mohd Amin.Second place won by Hisamullah Harun with five points losing a game to the eventual winner. Third place goes to Alias Mohd Amin.Top six winners will represent Terengganu in National Maksak Chess tournament in Penang on 1st to 3rd August in Penang.

UPDATE KEJOHANAN CATUR MAKSAK TERENGGANU

This Saturday on 19th July the selection tournament for Kejohanan Catur Maksak will played at Dewan Tuanku Abdul Rahman Jalan Sultan Ismail Kuala Terengganu.First round will start at 9.00 am.

Majlis Pemimpin Pelajar with cooperation Majlis Penghuni Desasiswa Kampus Kesihatan Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) will organise open chess event at Dewan Badminton Kompleks Sukan USM Kubang Kerian on 23rd August 2008.This is one day event with 30 minutes time control will be divided into 3 categories :

• Open section
• Under 18
• Under 12
