MAKSAK ON 6TH T0 8TH AUGUST IN KUALA LUMPUR

The interstate team championship for government servants will be held at Puteri Park at Jalan Raja Laut Kuala Lumpur on 6th to 8th August.The event is for the government servants only promises to be an exciting event as we will see many experienced players taking part.Defending champion Sarawak is drawn in group A together with 2008 champion Terengganu, Perlis ,Penjara  and dark horse Sabah.From my observation this is the first time Sabah is taking part in this event.Group A promises to be an exciting fight between title holder Sarawak ,Terengganu and Sabah because top 2 teams will be qualified to play in the winner pool.Only Kedah and Negeri Sembilan will not taking part.

Leading the  group B is Kuala Lumpur ,Melaka ,Perak Johor and PDRM.Former champion Kuala Lumpur look set to qualified for the winner pool.In group C Kelantan look set to dominate this group as they have the services of experienced players.Kelantan had tried many years to be a Maksak champion but this years they surely give other teams a run for their money.Last year Maksak event was held in Kota Bharu.Terengganu already selected players for this championship.Click here for last year results.
